Chemical spectroscopy and photomicroscopy are related methods of determining chemical properties of an object, sample or living tissue.The light used to determine chemical form should have the right characteristics to be absorbed by the molecules. Most light sources produce electromagnetic radiation, which can be divided into visible light and the ultraviolet (UV) light. It can also be used to determine how much the substance contains of a specific compound. This method can be used to determine the effectiveness of drugs, their safety for a human being or for a laboratory test.
